After completing my Business Management qualification, I spent 14 years in Traumatic Brain Injury and Stroke Rehabilitation, managing a small team of rehabilitation coaches. This experience sparked my passion for helping others, leading me to transition into Aged Care as the Facility Manager at Cambridge Oakdale.

I’m committed to ensuring that our residents time with us is filled with meaningful and memorable moments. Outside of work, I enjoy going to the gym, fishing, camping, and baking special treats for others. I’m also actively involved in the community, fundraising for charities, and enjoying events with family and friends.

Originally from South Africa, I’ve called New Zealand home for the past 19 years and am proud to be part of the Cambridge Oakdale team.

Lezani Meyer

We have created an environment that gives residents and their families a sense of belonging. Our landscaped gardens have views across the park, and local shops are within walking distance. We also transport residents to community activities and outings.

Our Activities programme (also open to Day Programme Residents) provides a range of stimulating activities for everyone, from quizzes, movie nights, and concerts to mini golf, crafts, and sing-alongs.

Respite Care

For those considering respite care, this is an option at Oakdale based on availability. Please call our Facility Manager to discuss the options.

Our approach to care

At Alden, we believe that all our elders deserve compassionate, trusted and respectful care, no matter their means or background. Our nurses and caregivers offer personalised care backed by industry-leading qualifications and training.

Premium room charges

Premium room charges apply to rooms with enhanced features, a private ensuite, a more spacious room or a desirable location within the facility.
